The Bale in Bali is a great luxury resort, the exclusive rooms and suites.

We loved our stay checking out this place and enjoying the peace and quiet.  You even get your own exclusive area on the local beach, just for guests of The Bale.

The Balé Nusa Dua is a serene, luxurious couples retreat - your own tropical paradise where you can truly relax and reconnect with your loved one. This most magical and private Nusa Dua resort has 29 immaculately designed modernist pavilions, each with a tranquil private garden and pool. Our ‘no children’ policy makes the resort ideal for honeymooners and newlyweds and you will be waited on hand and foot by our superbly trained staff Family, including your personal 24hr butlers.

Indulge in their sublime Spa, dine together by candlelight under the stars, hang out at their exclusive Beach Club, or curl up behind closed doors in your private pavilion. The Balé Nusa Dua is the ultimate romantic, luxury retreat in Bali.

Tara Iti

This is one amazing place.  20 minute helicopter transfer from Auckland, or a scenic 2 hour drive, this location will take your breath away.

As avid golfers, this was special moment and being able to stay and play at Tara Iti was an extraordinary experience.  If you haven't heard of it, Tara Iti is an exclusive private course on New Zealand's North Island.

Feel free to conact us about the course itself, but from a luxury point of view, only a few 'owners cottages' exist, and they ooze luxury.  RTI media control, Aesop bathroom products everywhere, amazing views and fantastic design.

The restaurant was amazing, with the chefs customising meals for each person.

Talk to us, and we can help you visit this spectacular location.

Maldives

We spent the week staying at the Conrad Hilton, Maldives.  We were able to get the Royal Suite (1 of 2) which included your own Butler, Speed boat and Golf Cart.

The food was excellent, although like everything in the Maldives, quite expensive.

The room house was amazing.  Two bedroom, remote controlled rotating bed to follow sunset, massive bathrooms, living room with clear floor to watch ocean.

We had lovely storms most afternoons.

We flew Emirates from Brisbane and went via Sri Lanka (or India, Singapore etc) and then you catch the Conrad Hilton plane to their Island.

Some photos of other rooms we investigated while there.

An amazing place, probably one of the best I have ever been to.  No complaints.

South Africa

We spent two weeks in South Africa on this trip.  We started in Cape Town at Abbey Manor which is just gorgeous, and intimate.

We then moved on to Hartford House which was just spectacular.  The houses are all different here, and we stayed in the round house.  So different, so luxurious.

We then moved to the main event, which was Ulusaba, Sir Richard Branson's private retreat in Africa.  He had just been there writing a book.

This place was just amazing in each and every way.  The safari drives morning and night, the meals either in room, shared dining room or served in the wine cellar or private area was also amazing.

Everything (other than massages) are included, such as laundry, food and drinks, safaris, tennis, guides and others.

We were lucky enough to also be taken to Leopard Creek Golf course there, as the managed or Ulusaba was friends with the course.  What an awesome experience as well.

If you would like to go, please contact us!

The photos include Abbey Manor, Hartford House, Ulusaba and a few different rooms, and then photos I took on safari.

Bora Bora

We stayed at the Intercontinental Thalasso Resort, Bora Bora.

Landing via Sea Plane, you get to see how spectacular the island and atolls are at Bora Bora.  So many major hotel chains, each on their own atoll, with the main island and mountain in the background.

We stayed in a Sunset Villa, the very last villas on each jetty.  They offer complete privacy and seclusion, along with the best sunset views, and views of the main island and mountain.

The room again was surreal.  Glass floors to feed fish and watch the ocean, gorgeous beds and bathrooms.

We hired jetskis, and spotted many celebs out and about like Nicole Kidman, Eddie Murphy etc, as its a popular place to kick back and relax.
